About Data Center Atlas
Know what is happening, without being told what to think.
Data Center Atlas shows where Great Lakes data centers are operating, being built, proposed, contested, or dormant. The map provides the regional picture; the Hotlist surfaces the developments that change it.
Great Lakes → projects → needs → opportunities → action.
Built for people with different interests
Residents, workers, planners, contractors, developers, utilities, investors, and community groups can use the same regional picture differently. The Atlas focuses on practical facts—location, status, operator, scale, power, and what changed—without scoring whether a project should proceed.
The Atlas and the Hotlist
The Atlas is the living map of facilities and projects. The Hotlist is the news layer: developments that materially change a location, project, policy, or infrastructure outlook. Together they show both what exists and what is moving.
From infrastructure to opportunity
The Great Lakes map is the public window into a broader intelligence engine. As the underlying picture grows, it can reveal workforce demand, procurement needs, power and land constraints, local business opportunities, and missing regional capabilities.
